#1037 "Include Subfolders": Enable Keyboard for Collapse/Expand

No

The two menu items (View-->"Expand/Collapse all Subfolders") should be available via hotkeys. Many Software uses [Shift] + [+/-] to do that. Please enable this in WinMerge, too.

BTW: It would be nice to have also the keys [+] for expanding, [-] for collapsing and the [*] for a new function "expanding folder with all subfolders".

Good idea. And being consistent with other apps is a good thing so suggested keys sound good.

That's exactly the first thing I found to be missing when trying out tree mode... :)

Any chance to see it in 2.12.2?

Yes, we definitely want this for next stable release. I simply forgot this item to feature request list (which naturally have a low priority).

    Attaching a patch (Keys_for_collapse_expand.patch).
    File Added: Keys_for_collapse_expand.patch

Unfortunately it is not possible to add this to stable release without breaking PO file compatibility. So no fix for stable release.

But I committed the patch to SVN trunk, so next experimental release will have this.

    Committed to SVN trunk:
    Completed: At revision: 6574
