In Tree Mode, if I am only viewing unique items, then folders and sub-contents marked as different will not show up. If I mark the show different items as well, then the folders will show (along with files marked as different). If I uncheck "view/show different items" the "different" folders and unique sub-contents disappear again. If I uncheck “tree mode”, then the unique items appear again. I expect that when unique files are shown (either with left unique or right unique or both), but not the different files, then all the same files would be visible whether or not tree mode is active, meaning that in tree-mode the parent folders would be included in the tree hierarchy to navigate to the unique files whether or not the parent folders are “unique”.
I have WinMerge version 2.14.0.0
