I would like to remind people once again, we have changed our name from Winmac to Achelous. We have also go a new site up at http://unkosher.net/achelous/
Could all current mailing list subscribers please go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/achelous/ and sign up for the mailing list there.
Do to a harware failure, the IP address for the kernel development site is http://24.246.52.88 This should bring you to the Achelous Kernel development home page. Sorry for the change.
Jim Powell
Everyone will be tranfered to the new project with in the next three days. If I miss your name out and you still wish to be included in the developers list please contact me. We will begin assigning people on different job as soon as the new project is running. We have already got done the inital planning.
The Kernel Development Web Site is online. The URL (at least at this point until I register my domain name) is http://24.246.71.192/. This site will contain information specific to the kernel development task. The SourceForge site will contain general information about Achelous development. Both sites will contain the Achelous API. If you are not aware, Winmac changed its name to Achelous.

The project name have now been decided. It will be changed from WinMac to Achelous.
We have decided to change the project name since the work 'Win' causes confusion to some developers and the word 'Mac' might upset Apple. We have not yet decided what to call the project. If you have come up with something send it to myself or Jim Powell, Vice Project Manager.
The Kernel Manager, Jim Powell has been appointed as Vice Project Manager.
Well, we figured it out, so Darwin is on its way into our local CVS. I need all of you who are planning to work on the Kernel to join the kernel development list so that we can get some dialog going on what is to be done. It also gives me some idea of how much help there is so I can try to come up with some form of schedule. BTW, the ToDo list should be available in the next couple of days, once I finish uploading the code.
I set up 3 mail:
Winmac-dev
Winmac-kernel-dev
Winmac-cvs
Feel free to subscribe, and lets get this thing off the ground.
Jim Powell has been appointed as the Kernel Manager. His job would be to distribute jobs around the Kernel Team and if needed look for new developers.
