how much would it cost to get a car or an ipod's or nokia model made in wings or bryce or povray or ogre or any other program ; (tell me prices for both animated as well as stills) ; i checked some models selling for 15 bucks on renderosity ; i am specifically looking for free or good but cheap models of consumer electronics devices ; also, can one model something in one app and render it in another ; or can one take model files of one app and render it in another? (please give some examples of such apps)

Bryce and Poser are good candidates they both import most file formats also Daz studio free at daz3d.com will import obj files. As far as free models check the sites in the webring art renderosity and check the freestuff section.
