I looked in your bug reports and didn't see this so
here goes.
I'm running slackware 10 with the stock kernel. I have
an nvidia GeForce Ti video card. I do have the
NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run driver installed. I
installed the game under /usr/local/games/wing-0.7/ and
set the directory to be in the "users" group. I then
created a symbolic link to the executable file in the
/usr/local/bin directory so that it would be accessible
system wide. But if I try to run the game using the
symlink I get an error message that says "Shutting down
Allegro due to signal #6". As long as I am using the
actual executable file the game runs great. No problems.
But if I create a symbolic link no matter where I make
it, I can't open up the game.
I apologize if this has already been reported. But
didn't see it in the bug reports page. If you would
like to reply to me or ask me more specific questions I
can be emailed at shilivan@yahoo.com.
Thanks.
