This thing has been driving me crazy.
I have a Radeon 9000PRO
Red Hat 8.0
CVS Winex (RPM from FreshRPMs)

Every time i run something that barely touches DirectX
(2d also) i get the following error :
err:win32:_EnterSysLevel (0x40ca7054, level 2): Holding
0x40d4934c, level 3. Expect deadlock!

And it hangs there.

It does the same on OpenGl games.

I tried:

Quake 1,Quake 2 (works in software mode),Quake 3,Jedi
Knight,Star Ward Episode 1,Mortyr,Madden 2003,Fifa
2001,Fifa 98,Need For Speed 2 SE,Need For Speed
4,NEed for speed 6,Red Alert 2,Max Payne,Unreal
Warfare,WarCraft 3 ...

Here is my config file:

As you see,I have also tried a rpm from FreshRPMs,but I
get the same error.
Also,some games even don't install (most of them),so I
just use Windows to install them.
My Windows drive is configured as /maxtor/c
