You just download the 32-bit executable from https://sourceforge.net/projects/windowstoolset/files/Windows%20Inspection%20Tool%20Set/3.2.5%20%28Release%29/setup-wits-3.2.5%2832%20bit%29.exe/download and run it.
At least the System Control Panel page shows "Systen Type: 64-bit Operating System" but this tool seems to omit that information. Of course I know it, because I'm the guy who knew to download and intall the 64-bit version, but that doesn't mean every other user will know that. So, they have to go into the System Control Panel page to find out whether it's 32 or 64 bit. That somewhat diminishes the convenience of this tool vs what's already in Windows.
how do I install this tool on Windows XP ? I found nothing in the Control Panel

The setup is infected with the installation of drivertuner.
configure.in still at 4.2.12
I assume you meant to file this ticket for twapi, and not windows tool set. It has been fixed there now. Thanks
I'm not sure what you mean. Both files are in the download area. The setup-wits-3.2.3(64 bit).exe file is the 64-bit version and the setup-wits-3.2.3(32 bit).exe is the 32-bit version.
Seeking 64bit version
configure.in still at 4.2.12
Also, how did you detect the presence of drivertuner? Unfortunately, several virus scanners like Symantec raise a false positive on this. I have informed them in the past and they fix their broken detection. With the next release, they break it again :-(
Please provide details of what link exactly you clicked to download. Did you download from Sourceforge or some other site like CNET? If on SF, did you click the file or the big "ad" SF puts up? As the author, I know I have not put any "add-ons" like that into the setup.
