Would it work on a MacPro 1,1?

    Hi,

I have a MacPro 1,1 that I'd like to get a modern version of Windows onto (I'm thinking Win10).

Since the Mac OS version that machine has can't run Windows Install directly, I'm wondering if I could just do all the setup of the target drive on different, modern Mac with the target drive attached externally (via enclosure) and then just plop the drive into the MacPro and have things work.

Is that a supported workflow? I checked and Windows Install seems to open on my m1 Mac.
I'm also wondering if there are any special settings needing, given the MacPro 1,1's weird 32-bit bootloader mode. Any guidance welcome!
    Thanks!

Hi. I think this is possible, since the Mac m1 has Rosetta 2. Format the drive to an MBR partition; formatting to a GTP partition doesn't make sense, since this drive will only contain Windows.
Launch the program and select the "Install Windows legacy boot" option. Then follow the instructions - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tebSRJhSWcg&t=879s
There may be driver issues; I'm giving you a link, hopefully it helps.
