I thought I'd go ahead and give it a try to see if this promising program
might work in Windows 7 Pro x64. Much to my delight it does! This is just
what I need in the new desktop I'm putting together as well as this one I'm
typing this email on. I have multiple drives and partitions to keep up with.
I just thought it would be appropriate to give this feedback to you. Both of
these desktops are using the new Gigabyte boards (1) GA-790XTA-UD4
motherboard with USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s, 4GB of DDR3-1333 (PC3-10666), MSI
HD4830's in Crossfire, Phenom II x3 720 on this PC, and (2) the new build
will use a Phenom II x4 955, 8GB of Dominator DDR3-1333, on a GA-890GPA-UD3H
also with USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s, with Gigabyte HD5830's in Crossfire. Your
software will be especially welcome on the new PC since it will have a
primary function of handling media...primarily Blu-Ray video editing and
storage. I am hoping WinDirStat will also work on an external Storage array
(Sans Digital) and a NAS I plan to implement soon after the new build is
completed. If all of these plans work out I'll be sure to bring you up to
date with the facts. I got to go now and install it on the notebook...a
Toshiba A505-S6965 so I can keep track of its 500GB usage. It's OS is
Windows 7 Home Premium x64. Thanks for a wonderful and useful tool.
