From: Austin Graves. Platform: Windows XP (Service Pack 2).
I just downloaded this program and tried it out. I think it is a novel concept.
However I was disappointed that it doesn't seem to support NTFS junction points
(also known as reparse points). On my system, I have a C:
drive, but I also have other volumes (partitions) that do not have drive
letters; rather, they are accessed via several junction points. So, my
C:\Program Files is actually on another volume. So is my C:\Documents and
Settings, and some others. I also have a couple of sub-junctions, such that
C:\Program Files\Adobe is also a separate volume. I did this to better organize
things, to keep the filesystems cleaner and more efficient, for better disaster
recovery, and because I liked the concept as it was applied in Linux / UNIX
Anyway, like I said the program looks promising and if you ever have a chance to
take a look at junction point support that would be great.
