Hi,John.I am beginner in win32 GUI programming.
I tried to build win32gui with Dev-C++ using build_library.exe.
but I got many error and couldn't build it.
Dev-C++ version 188.8.131.52.(gcc version 3.4.2)
win32gui version 1.6.1 and 1.6.4.
I can easily build it with VS.NET 2003.
Does latest version support Dev-C++ ?
Can I use win32gui library buit with VS.NET 2003 for Dev-C++?
did you build the library by clicking on the "Build..." button next to gcc? win32gui supports vc7.1, gcc and comeau
win32gui does support Dev-C++. Just make sure that when using build_library.exe, at "Additional Includes" you specify the GCC directories. For my gcc 3.3.1, they are:
I assume for you, they should be:
Please let me know if this works.
Yes,I clicked on the "Build.." button next to gcc.
and set gcc Additional includes like this.
I have mingw and I set mingw's gcc in my PATH.
maybe ,this cause troubles.
Does build_library.exe use gcc in C:\Dev-Cpp\bin
or just use gcc in comannd pronpt line?
I try again.
I specify the GCC directories like this.
but I get many errors again. these are the part of errors.
g++ -c -Wall -ftemplate-depth-100 -DNDEBUG -DNDEBUG -O3 -finline-functio

Libraries are found in the 'win32gui-lib/win32gui/lib' folder
I can build it!
I delete mingw's path,and set C:\Dev-Cpp\bin in my path.
