#69 Win32DiskImager crashes at start with no GUI when running Veracrypt
Problem Description:
- Win32DiskImager 1.0 does not start when executed. It always seems to crash right away. No matter when using Windows 7 64bit or Windows 10 64bit.
- The problem must have something to do with VeraCrypt (currently v1.21). I have my encrypted drives (HDD+SDD) mounted. When I unmount them in Veracrypt then Win32Diskimager starts normally.
My current work-around:
1. Unmount all Veracrypt volumes
2. Start Win32Diskimager
3. Remount the Verycapt volumes
Interestingly, with this work-around Win32Diskimager has no problem reading and writing to mounted Veracrypt volumes. The problem seems to be only when Win32Diskimager starts. It seems that is chokes when reading volumes at startup. Once successfully started, all is fine.
I presume this is related to all the reported RAM Disk problems.
