Win2vnc 1.5.0 released

There is a minor version change from 1.4 to 1.5 because a significant amount and an important piece of code has changed to fix to old bugs. Because the effects mentioned in bugs 1102089 and 1102083 are absent in vncviewer 3.3.7, portions of that code affecting the key mapping are ported to Win2VNC. Also ‘flasher’ support is removed and Windows CE support is dropped. Due to an upgrade of Inno Setup installer, Windows versions 95, 98 and ME are no longer supported. Win2VNC 1.4.1 released

Release 1.4.1 fixes a nasty bug that causes Win2VNC
to crash during startup after saving options as default.

Primary monitor was not always set correctly. Instead of assuming that the first enumerated display is primary, now the information from the operating system is used.
Enable 'load from file [...]' button in new connection dialog.
Allow for input of arbitrary port number through use of the format host::port. This also disables the check for valid RFB port number range.
Remote mouse parking option implemented. User can now choose between default (old) behavior, any of the four corners of the remote (virtual) desktop, centered on the desktop or a specific location.
Listener mode rehabilitated.
Flasher now optional.
Check and if necessary restore tray icon (i.e. explorer crash).

Win2VNC 1.4.0 beta available as nightly build

Win2VNC 1.4.0 is due for release. Available now as nightly build is a beta version containing all changes to be incorperated into the final 1.4.0 build.

Nightly builds

Starting December 1st (2004) nightly builds will no longer be posted to my @Home webspace. Instead it will be posted to the same webspace the home page is on. Please check the 'downloads' page for the correct link.

Win2VNC 1.3.1 released

This release is mainly a bugfix release. Some usebility improvements have been added. Please check the manual to find out about the details of the changes.

Win2VNC 1.3.0 released

Win2VNC 1.3.0 is released. This release adds support for multi-head awareness and international keyboard. It also adds a few minor things as found in the change log.

Win2VNC 1.3.0 beta 8 released

Despite previous messages one more beta. Unless serious blocking bug(s) are found this will really be the final beta. Since only minor changes/fixes where introduced this not expected and after a week of testing the 1.3.0 final build will be released.

The Win2VNC CVS source is now imported into the SourceForge.net CVS system and available for your use. Released versions of Win2VNC are and will be tagged accordingly. Latest developments are available through the 'HEAD' revision. Please read the SourceForge.net documentation on how to access CVS.
