#5 win2fs does not show devices

after this:
1. Navigate to Control Panel. You should see a new icon named 'Win2fs' - double click it.
2. You would be taken to the main application of Win2fs
3. Select any of your ext2 partitions from the list here

there is no device to select from.
system: 300Gb USB2-disk and winXP

refreshing does not help.
neither does unplugging/plugging in the usb-cable
