WiMp: The Wireless Mapper / News: Recent posts

A new version has been posted and a whole slew of things have been updated and bugs fixed. There is an exciting new feature, the ability to generate a map with more than one set of data. So you can collected data on more than one occasion. See the readme for more details.

Another new version has been posted with a few major changes and a bunch of bug fixes. Check it out in the downloads section.

We forgot an entire file.....how did that happen!?! A couple of bug fixes too. Check the downloads page.

There has been an example coverage map posted to the screen shot section. The quality is pretty low so the full size version can be found here:

Please beaware that this may not be a very good example of a coverage map, the data collection was pretty sloppy.

Seriously, for installation instructions see the wiki. The instructions included in the last release were incomplete. Besides, who doesn't like screen shots.

Installation and usage instructions have been posted on the wiki. A forum for feedback has also been opened, all feedback welcome.

A new file has been add to the Download section. It actually includes a Readme.txt with installation instructions and information about usage. Not to mention a bunch of bug fixes.

The first download of WiMp is available on the download page. It comes with no instructions, sorry, we'll get there.

Welcome to our sourceforge project. We'll post our code base very soon. Hopefully we'll have some documentation to go with it soon too.
