I wanted to move my 360 .sav to the pc game. After loading my 360 .sav in WillowTree and changing it to a pc .sav I dropped it in the proper location. I then load the game and try to load my sav. Everything looks correct put when i try to play i get no reposnce from any keys or my 360 controller. I can start a new game fine and move around but it seems like im doing something wrong when trying to convert the save as when I load it I lose all keyboard keys in the game and have to alt tab out to close game.

To convert a savegame from Xbox to PC:

    1) Start out by creating a new PC character in your PC version of Borderlands to make sure you have a unique save slot allocated.
    2) Load the newly created character in WT#.
    2) Go to the general tab and look at the Save Number of the save.  Write that down.
    3) Load the Xbox savegame in WT# and change the save number to the same number as the new PC character that you just made.
    4) Convert the savegame to PC format in memory by selecting Change Save Format->PC from open file menu.
    5) Use "Save As" to save the converted save from memory over top of that new PC character's savegame.

This process makes sure that your converted savegame has its own unique save slot and the proper filename to work without overwriting or interfering with any of your other PC savegames.

If you followed this method and your savegame doesn't work when you load it on the PC then I will need to analyze a copy of the savegame to find the issue.  If you upload it I will look at the internal values in depth to see which values look abnormal and could result in this sort of behavior.  Savegame format conversion is one of the newest features in WT# and it requires knowledge of the byte-order of every single value in the savegame.  It's possible that I have one of those byte-orders incorrect somewhere on one of the values whose purpose I don't fully understand and that is resulting in two values being treated as one or vice versa and their byte orders are being reversed.

There are a few ways you can send your savegame file to me listed below.  Xbox savegames contain your Xbox profile and machine identifiers which you should not distribute publicly.  You will want to convert the savegame to the PC or PS3 format which does not contain those private identifiers then upload that converted file instead of the original in Xbox format.  Here's three possible methods to upload:

    A) You can create a new support request tracker ticket (click tracker near the top of the page) and upload the savegame as a file attachment.
    B) You can email the savegame directly to me as an email attachment at matt911@users.sf.net.
    C) You can upload the savegame at a file hosting website such as mediafire.com or megaupload.com and post a link to it here that I can use to download it.

I wasn't clear above that you find the Save Number in the general tab in WillowTree# along with stats like your character's experience and gold after you load the savegame.
