#8 Cannot load new file while already playing another

Client (2)

This started as a bug reported to the Rhythmbox developers, bug #564930. If crossfading is enabled in Rhythmbox, clicking 'Next' for the next midi track causes Rhythmbox to quit. This is apparently due to the wildmidi libraries not able to load a new file whilst another is playing.

    I have same problem too. Trying to open second file causes my program crash. Here is example code:

    WildMidi_Init ("/etc/timidity/timidity.cfg", 44100, mixer_options);
    void *midi_ptr = WildMidi_Open ("file1.midi");
    void *midi_ptr2 = WildMidi_Open ("file2.midi"); //segmentation failed!

    Will check this out, a new version of WildMIDI is being written but a little slowly due to holidays and other commitments. No beta or release date yet.

    Cannot reproduce this bug in 0.2.3alpha SVN source. Cannot get processing 2 or midi's to break each other.
