From the wxProjects project: Harry - sf-harry
"I would like to have different wiki's, running on the
same (wiki)server. It's usefull when you have multiple
projects which have no relation (e.g. different clients).
It could also be archieved by a structure of
permissions, but I think will be very complex...."

kingdj:
"We achieved this effect by running multiple instances of
WxWiki on the same server with different ports.

There is one "top-level" wiki that is used for
department-level stuff, and project wikis "under" that
one.
They are linked in the SideBar page, and in the InterWiki
page. Typically, the project wikis don't link to each
other, so the only maintenance is adding a project wiki to
the "top-level" wiki's SideBar and InterWiki."

sf-harry:
"Yes, that's a possibility. It has though a few drawbacks:
(1) upgrading get's real timeconsuming, (2) internal
memeory
get's low and (3) I've to open a lot of ports in my
firewall...
I think this is a good solution for either an intranet, or
when talking about a small number of wiki's...Thanks for
the
suggestion..."
