From the wxProjects project: Ken Robertson - kenrob
"A very useful additional feature would be the ability
to upload files. Primarily an ability to upload
additional documents (.XLSs, .PDFs, image files etc.)
so that these files could be linked from the wiki.

As a secondary, but related, feature others may also
benefit from the ability to upload to a shared download
area."

The comments from the other request:
    Ryan:
"Yeah, definately the most requested feature.

For this I was thinking a per-user storage area with a size
limit specified by users.wkc (at least initially...)..."

    Kenrob:
"OK, that implies some security provisions over the storage
    areas.

Write security only? So if you upload YourFile.txt and link
to it from YourPage, then I modify YourPage that won't be
beaten by the security? What if I need to modify
YourFile.txt - should I copy it to my PC, edit it, upload it
to my storage area and change the link in YourPage to point
to my storage area. Can I/should I delete the copy from
your storage area to minimise any potential confusion about
file versions? (Hmm, might be getting a bit complicated for
    the users...)"

    sf-harry:
"Hmm.. there are a lot of programs who offer file sharing. I
think you need a whole lot of facilities to getthis working
and I'm not sure that's the way to go.. Think of AV
    checking
    of uploads ect...
Have a look at www.desknow.com they have a free version for
unlimited users and see if it fits your need. "
