As SW developer I often have "*" or "_" in normal text (e.g. ref. to files like *abc*.pl or file, variable and function names with "_"). A wiki syntax which uses single characters for formatting is therefore impractical. Please support a variant which does not use single characters for formatting, especially since current handling leads to strange results. In the following example the '_' leads to wrong handling of rest of page (e.g. "todo:" indented and not bold as special word, heading "CallList" indented).
++ Format Err
* N="..._Dummy":
....
todo: ???
+++ CallList
* "x_<variant>"
...
