I'd like to be able to specify the search range as an exact pair of revision numbers rather than by calendar date. That is very helpful with fast-changing articles where a lot of reverting is going on. Also as far as I can tell, there is not currently an "end date" option for binary mode, though the bug requesting it has a note indicating that there is one. There is often a situation where the revision of (say) January 9, 2007, has a mention of penguins that is missing from the revision of March 1, 2007 which is 100's of revisions later, but then in June 2007 the article mentions penguins again. I want to know when the mention of penguins was removed between January and March, and there seems like no good way to do this. Thanks.
I'm currently working on adding a way to start at timestamps instead of plain days.
I started thinking about optimizing the user interface. When doing that, I will ad such an input field.
