Right now there is just "start date". A certain string was added to an article about 2 months ago, and removed around 1 month later. Using "start date" I can easily find the insertion point, but it's hard to find the removal point without repeatedly tweaking the number of edits to search and re-running the search. What I'd like to do is enter two dates or version id's, one with the string present and one with it absent, and have the program find a insertion or removal point that is strictly between those two versions.
Doesn't binary search do that already?
