Hi Karen, Tiddlywiki uses a different syntax (wiki2xhtml uses the mediawiki syntax). Some parts (like bold/italic) could easily be adjusted, others (like images) would need more programming. But out of the box most commands (except for HTML) will not work since the syntax differs quite a lot. There is the issue with the menu, which isn't displayed. We use currently the following stylesheets (from your hd-style) <title> Apache_SSL_Konfiguration</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen, projection,tv" href="style/style.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="print, tty" href="style/style_print.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="print, tty" href="style/ie-fixes.css" /> The negative margin definition could be the reason. Hi Axel, The reason that this is not yet supported is that wiki2xhtml was thought to be similar to Wikipedia where you don't have subdirectories either (you can simulate them, though). I've started a major refactor of wiki2xhtml some weeks/months ago to finally get some clearness also in old code. Kind of a complete rewrite. The final version will still take some weeks of programming (and that's not the only thing I'm doing ;)), and wiki2xhtml is not top priority at the moment. But when it is done, it would/should be an easy thing to support subdirectories. I'm sorry I can't give you a better answer right now, but wiki2xhtml was designed not to use subdirectories and I first need to complete refactoring. Implementing it in the old version would not be worth the effort -- at least not for me. Perhaps you could simulate subdirectories with mod_rewrite? Hi Axel, Easiest thing would perhaps be to use a different menu. Right now I don't have time (exams), and I want to finish/tweak some tools in kdenlive (.org). And it is also a little difficult to test for me because I don't have an old IE here. Which version, btw? I might take a look at it after the exams. Hi Simon, I read in your documentation ( http://wiki2xhtml.sourceforge.net/usage.html#h_Whichdirectorystructureissuggested ), that wiki2xhtml currently doesn't support subdirectories. Why it isn't supported today? Which effort is needed to implement this feature and it is possible? The reason for my question is, that i have to implement a structure with subdirectories. Hi Simon, i would like to ask you, for a little bit of your time belonging the described IE-Issue. It is still unclear for me, why the IE do not show the menu. Maybe you have an idea what's wrong? In the moment i have not so much time to solve the issue, because i have had a lot to do in my work time. Maybe you could cut a little bit time for this? The problem is, that a lot of my colleagues are using the IE, and my css-knowledge is not so good to resolve the issue. Hi Axel, This is possible now in SVN Revision r1686. http://wiki2xhtml.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/wiki2xhtml?view=rev&revision=1686 You can save your custom template in the directory of the style you are using as tplTOC.txt (like style/hd/tplTOC.txt). For you it will be something like that: <div id="toc"><h2>Inhaltsverzeichnis</h2> [toc] </div> Without the clear:left at the end of the div container. Can you use the current SVN version? Otherwise you could also change it in the XhtmlSettings.java file of an older version (about line 500). Hi Simon, no i found the reason for the spacing after the Table of Content to the first header. It is a "<br style="clear: left;" />" Statement after the closing div-tag for the "<div id="toc">" On which way you add these tag? Hi Axel, To me it seems like if java tries to compile in 1.4. You might either try java -source 1.6 src/UserInterface.java or simply run ant in the wiki2xhtml directory. It should do all the compiling/jar stuff. Except for creating the .po files (is also necessary when using javac). ./lang-update.sh && ./create-l10n.sh && ant Ah, and I just saw that I re-introduced the tty crash. Fixed in r1685. Hi Simon, with your current version (wiki2xhtml 3.4b5 (GPL): Vorschau) the issue doesn't occur again. I think for this the issue is fixed. Hi Axel, There was a problem in the earlier versions, yes. Can you switch to the current version? If not (as it requires Java 1.6) please tell me the version you're using so that I can fix it there. Hello, i have a problem to translate wiki2xhtml Files into html-Pages! It isn't possible to generate the html files if i use a script which has no terminal (like calling via cron e.g.) I tried to set "-Djava.awt.headless=true", as you could see in the following logoutput > wasweb: convert_wiki_files.bash WebSphere_Cluster.wiki > Wiki-File: WebSphere_Cluster.wiki > WIKI_NAME: WebSphere_Cluster > WIKI_BILDER_DIR:.WebSphere_Cluster_img > /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_06/jre/bin/java -jar /home/wasweb/bin/wiki2xhtml/wiki2xhtml.jar --lang=de -s "/home/wasweb/bin/wiki2xhtml/style/hd" -m > "/appl/DOC/websysteme/Wiki_Quelltexte/menu.txt" -c "/appl/DOC/websysteme/Wiki_Quelltexte/common.txt" --td "/appl/DOC/websysteme/htdocs/WebSphere/" > "/appl/DOC/websysteme/Wiki_Quelltexte/WebSphere_Cluster.wiki" > Directory already exists: /appl/DOC/websysteme/htdocs/WebSphere/style > Exception in thread "main" java.awt.HeadlessException > at sun.awt.HeadlessToolkit.getScreenSize(HeadlessToolkit.java:261) > at program.GUI.<init>(GUI.java:102) > at program.Globals.getGuiManager(Globals.java:49) > at program.UserInterface.setProgress(UserInterface.java:470) > at program.XHTML.p(XHTML.java:159) > at program.XHTML.wiki2xhtml(XHTML.java:181) > at program.UserInterface.make(UserInterface.java:367) > at program.UserInterface.main(UserInterface.java:141) I found a little point in the "UserInterface.java" file which could be maybe the the root cause for the issue: public static void setProgress(int i) { if (nFiles != 0) { float p = (float) (fileNumber - 1) / nFiles * 100 + (i / nFiles); progress = Math.round(p); try { ---> Globals.getGuiManager().setProgress(progress); ---> Globals.getGuiManager().setTime(Statistics.getInstance().sw.timeOverall.getPassedTime()); } catch (NullPointerException e) {} } } Could you please have a look at this issue? Hi, The bug tracker has changed (finally). Now here: https://sourceforge.net/apps/mantisbt/wiki2xhtml/ Roadmap and changelog is also available there. Not yet too interesting though, but that will change in future. Simon |
