#562 slow at startup loading resources

I have always wondered why it toke so long at the loading resources screen during startup. (Sorry, I don't have numbers now since I have patched it a while ago).
So I started to study the code and comment out different initization routines and finally I found the "culprit" - mounting of Gamecube memory cards (strangly it wasn't in the mounting devices section). Since I use Gamecube memory cards, i intended to remove the lines but then considering I might use them one day (since my Wii have gamecube support), I created a new boot setting to turn mounting them on/off at boot:
