Quick Start guide

Getting started is very simple, before doing any of these steps, make sure your bluetooth stick works and supports Wii devices. (try it out in Devices and Printers first if you're not sure).

Connecting the balance board

Take off the battery lid, then press the red sync button, now click on the "Connect to balance board" button in the application.

Press it periodically until windows mentions the software has been installed.

There is one trick to this, you must press periodically to keep it alive, but if you press AFTER windows installed it, it will fuck shit up.

Shortly after windows says it's installed (don't press the sync button anymore after that), click OK or press enter.

If all is good, the application should establish a connection with the balance board.

Connecting the Wiimote

To connect the Wiimote, it's kind of the same story as for the balance board, except you press the 1 and 2 buttons this time. Be sure to read all of the notes above and you should be fine.

Control binding

You can set up custom controls for the wiimote, nunchuk and balance board. These settings are saved when you close the window and loaded again next time you run the application.

Notes

Reconnect is glitchy, only do this if it crashed while trying to pair the Wiimote while having already paired the balance board, or when you already had paired both and they're still on and you just restarted the application. In some cases, reconnect can cause crashes usually beyond my control.

Disconnect all is an easy button that disconnects and removes the devices when you're done.

Finally

If there are any questions, bugs, suggestions, etc, please report these!
Thank you, please enjoy.

Thank you

A big thank you to Richard Perry for Wii balance walker. Without his source code, making this would not have been possible. Keep publishing your source code so people like me can learn and make cool stuff!
