I have also updated the homepage and added lots of examples: http://wiggle.sourceforge.net/
Images hosted by flickr can now be wiggled without download.
See examples here:

The new flash aligner in source.html makes it much easier and more precise to choose the near and far focus points in each photo.

These things will happen before we go Gamma:
* wiggle.html (new file) will dynamically write the html display pages with javascript {align border title description photographer link credit}
* wiggle.swf will do all of the calculations possible, leaving only required varibles to be passed {left right nlx nly nrx nry flx fly frx fry}
This will happen within 3 weeks. Gamma will be a one-month bug-squashing interface-polishing release candidate period, after which we will move the project to 1.0.0.
I knew how to get depth focusing to work all along, but I was thinking about it too much...

... & now it is time for some feature-adding and bug-squashing.
The goal of implementing depth-focusing has been shifted back to the Beta (0.1.0) release. The alpha release will have a WiggleSet creator written in JavaScript (client-side), and will probably be released by the end of this week. This release will be usable to create sets like the current proof-of-concept (http://wiggle.sourceforge.net/), but will unfortunately not implement depth focusing geometry.
Test these out here: http://wiggle.sourceforge.net/
* load images from external .jpgs
* "loading..." message while images are loading into flash player
* automatic animation on load
* cropping for viewing outside of html or browser (or inside of a crappy browser that likes to make the flash object bigger than it should be)
* control panel on click
* "X" icon (draws guidelines/sightlines)
* "Z" icon ((un)pauses animation)
* "I" icon (pauses animation at 50%)
* "H" icon (exits control panel without making changes)... read more

To-do before first alpha release: depth scrolling and automatic animation.
I have been working on the proof-of-concept Flash app today, and it is coming along nicely. I think I will make it the first alpha release, because it will be usable, just not as usable as it will be when and if 1.0 comes along, ha ha. When I finish it it will be viewable here:

and downloadable from here:
