This is actually a bug, that i am going to correct right now in the cvs, so that it won't be in the next release. But, this doesn't really affect your system, when your card is in managed mode. The wireless security tab, provides access list manipulation for a card running as an access point, that is master mode. If you want to use your card as an access point, you need to use a driver like hostap, or madwifi, that supports master mode. Thank you for pointing out the problem.
