Still having the same problem. I just had to reboot my
router
again, the wireless clients could not connect today. A
reboot
fixes the problem. The crash seems to occur after
~8hours,
maybe less. Also, my signal does not seem to be
improved by
the power boost, like the original post said. My bigger
concern is the crash.

Some statistics:
1) Using the Feb 9th firmware.
2) I did hard reset my WRT54G(v1.0), and reconfigured
my
settings.
3) Using the following options of the firmware:
-PPPoE
-Logging
-Signal Boost, 50%
-Static DHCP
-MAC filtering
-WPAPSK TKIP

I'm planning to try and turn off some of my manic
security,
like the MAC filetering to see if it helps. Please let me
know
if
I'm doing something wrong.

FYI, I was having the exact same problems as this user
reported. I read the comments and have done a hard
reset
on my router and rebuilt my settings. I'll let everyone
know
if
it works for me...

I've experimented with the new Firmware and have the same
bug like frankrizzo007 i think the problem is related to the
wpa TKIP encryption, changed this to web 128 everything
    works great.

Interesting, I'll try turning off WPA-TKIP, and enabling WEP
instead to see what happens. Thanks bassbauer.
