Build 4 of Widelands, a free, cross-platform strategy game has been
released. The game is heavily inspired by Settlers II by BlueByte.
Widelands uses SDL as graphics and input library and is currently available
for Linux/x86 and Windows and in SourceCode.
The current release shows heavy progress though it is still not playable.

-- Nearly all graphics are new
-- Renderer is all new
-- Majory code fixes (input, graphic)
Both binary and source packages are available from
Simply download one of the binary packages in your favorite file format
and unpack it. Both packages include both Windows and Linux executables, so
eeither will work.
Linux users: you must have SDL version 1.2.x installed. Please check your
distribution for precompiled packages or visit http://www.libsdl.org/
