I'm happy to announce that beta2 version was just released. This release includes many bug fixes and feature requests, and is primarily meant to stabilize the library before a few core changes are made in RC1.
You can view the bugs fixed and features implemented in the SourceForge tracking system, but I assure you, that's not all that was done.
RC1 should be coming soon.
WideImage 1.0 beta is released. There are a few bug fixes and some new features, nothing serious. The library proved stable enough to enter beta version.
WideImage has joined the GoPHP initiative (http://gophp5.org/). This means that from February 5th, 2008, WideImage will accept PHP 5.2 features to its codebase and will not support older versions of PHP.
I'm glad to announce the first release of this library. The release is alpha, but it's pretty stable and will go directly to beta unless some serious error is found.
