Read Me
WhirlwindDB Whirlwind.db is a SQL analytics-only database that runs on an NVIDIA GPUs under CUDA. We are many hundreds of times faster then CPU based databases with phenomenal data loading and Star Schema capabilities. To install you will require: a CUDA capable NVIDIA GPU A recent linux distro (it probably works on windows but its not guaranteed) A C++11 compiler Some admin skills WhirlwindDB is optimised for SSD storage or spinning disk. We recommend lots of CUDA cores (more important then CPU cores) >= 16GB RAM and a large GPU
