Clamatius has not done work on the bot in something like two years. I was hoping that with Masked Carrot coming in, we'd see regular work on the bot again. However, that hasn't happened. Whichbot is currently up-to-date and working on NS 3.2. The bots can use all the alien life forms, and all the weapons. The last two big hurdles are a rewrite of the waypoint code, and writing high level strategic thought.
The community, small as we are, is still here, though. There are at least half a dozen people who check daily for new posts on these boards.
Have no doubt, Whichbot is good as-is; It's the best NS bot you can find, and when it breaks on a new NS version, Clamatius has always been fast in making it work again. I just don't think there's anyone hard at work writing new features.
