Links that lead to nowhere (the ObjectPointer is not valid()) need
to be handled correctly in Reference operations test() and
defined().
Of course, it isn't clear what correctly it -- though probably false in
both cases is correct.
Other operations should be checked as well for correct behavior in
this case.
