Be sure at least Java 1.6 is installed not tested on 1.7

--1--> Start with downloading the office2text.jar in the downloads section

--2--> Now open office2text.jar and click on "file..." a new window will open were you have to select the file

--3--> When you press open you have to wait a little time and the the file will open in the "output:" textbox
