In mid-March 2009, Freshmeat has changed the newsletter format again. Check the CVS for an (untested) updated version of whatsnewfm, a proper release should be out soon.

whatsnewfm 0.6.0 released

This is a re-release of version 0.5.3 which has proven to be stable. The 0.6.x versions are now considered the new stable branch.

Be sure to read the README if you upgrade from 0.4.x to the 0.6.x branch, you need to make some changes to your configuration.

The 0.4.x branch will remain for those who can't use a BerkeleyDB. Bugfixes will be backported from 0.6.x if I can find time for it.

whatsnewfm 0.5.3 released

This release merges the changes from version 0.4.13:
Location and name of configuration file can now be changed. Some small documentation updates have also been made.

If this release runs smoothly for the next days, it will be promoted to v0.6.0. The 0.4.x branch will then become deprecated.
