Just wondering how whatpix is supposed to deals with links?

I have a situation where whatpix just recurse on a
symbolic link to the home directory.

Case of the "Home Directory" in .gnome-desktop.

I want to know if there is some thoughts about that
topic before preventing it to follow links.
