#8 Impossible to use on Mac OS

Could you please make sure that this is possible to build on Mac OS 10.9? I think the Xcode project file is really old, it has settings that are old and building produces many errors. I can't even begin to fix them on my own, I already spent 3 hours trying to make your library to build. Alternatively, you might consider not relying on Xcode project and providing a mac-friendly make file? I tried running make install and make but it says that there are no targets specified.
