Is weex still under active development?

Obviously not. Two posts a year can hardly be called active and no commits for a long time.

OTOH for most cases weex just works.

Can any of the developers give a brief statement about weex' roadmap!?

    Hi !
I am supposed to maintain weex… I just fix bugs found on the Debian package, and have really little time for adding new features. I have a patch for sftp support, but I don't know when I'll find time to integrate it.
    Any help is welcome !
I also use it every day and weex "just works" but sftp support would be a big +.
    Best regards,
      Ludo.

    Hello Ludo,

thx for the reply. Just as I thought. Well, there are some issues in the forums. Perhaps you could make a little list about things to do and ask for help on the projects webpage.Thank you for taking the time.

    Yours Stefan

    Hello Ludo,
I don't know whether what you said eleven years ago is still true but...
I still use weex and am struggling with its removal from the Gentoo repositories. I could push for its reinstatement but they'll flat refuse if there's no sign of activity on the project. Even moving the (now dead) CVS repository over the SVN would help!
If you're looking for someone to chip in some effort, I've recently resurrected my own legacy SF project and would be happy to join the team.
There's a minor fix that Gentoo currently applies as a patch, which I think should be OK for all, and they had a bee in their bonnet about the NLS not working (though I see you did some work on that between their last v2.6.1 and the six-year-old 2.8.2 release)
    Cheers,
    Rob

      Hello Robert,

I still maintain the package for the Debian project. I add very few features,
but weex is stable and I still use it daily on my web sites.
I've seen that I forgot to upload the v2.8.3 source code to SF, it's currently
available on Debian pages, sorry for that, I'll fix that asap...
Of course you can contribute and your patches will be integrated, and I'll
move the source to a more modern repo.

      Kind regards,

      Ludovic

I'll move the source to a more modern repo.

Is this still accurate? I would love to see weex still actively maintained, and would gladly participate (at least in testing and documenting).

Ludovic has moved from CVS to GIT since making that post, so I think the bit you quoted has been satisfied
