Maurice,
All good points - I'll respond below.

Strongly agree.

Going to get better soon, just got to get one of the guys here to finish off
his new design.

This is a very valid point - I should have mentioned it before, forgive me.
Firstly let me say there's nothing nefarious or evil going on here!
OpenSymphony is the Open Source project I founded back in 1999 with Joe
Walnes and the other core developers joined in the time since then.
Atlassian is the J2EE software and support company that I started after I
left internet.com in August 2001.
Atlassian is the major 'commercial backer' of OS at the moment, meaning we
provide a lot of the code, time, organisation, server space, documentation
etc - in exchange for community reputation, consulting work and hopefully
support from companies that use J2EE.
This is not to indicate in any way that OS is a commercial project - it is
not by any means. It was started by dedicated J2EE people, is run by
dedicated J2EE people for the benefit of J2EE users - true scratching an
itch.
At the moment our only branding is the ad in the top right hand corner of
the site - but I'm more than happy to review this if it's an issue. (I've
discussed with others before - perhaps what's best is to have a banner
rotation system, with each of the major developers' companies being able to
promote themselves there in exchange for their time contributions?)

Thanks mate - we are all cool. BTW a lot of us will be at JavaOne this
March, so we can all sink a few beers together.
