Yes, I noticed this too. I have made an include tag in WebWork, but I'm not sure if it helps. And I think this is the biggest problem with WebWork. From a design point of view it is just bloody marvellous, but I'm still unsure about performance. Now, when I say "unsure" I mean just that: I don't know what the performance of it will be.
