When I build a Webware application, is there any component that I should
make threadsafe? I always assumed that my servlet should be threadsafe
and that made me write some pretty convoluted code. But when I start the
appserver I noticed:
CacheServletClasses = 0
CacheServletInstances = 0
Does this mean that a new instance of my servlet class will be created to
handle each request? And if I change these settings to 1, then I assume
that my class should be threadsafe (proper locking of class members), but
does it also mean that the instance should be thread safe?
If there is any documentation covering those aspect, just direct me to the
proper place! What would be the relevent part of the source code to go
