Yes, PSP pages are compiled to Servlets. You can view the compiled PSP in
the Cache/PSP directory. There's no reason I can think of why a servlet
would be slower than a PSP since they are really the same thing. You could
try moving a compiled PSP from the Cache directory to your context and see
if it runs slower as a "regular" servlet than it does as a PSP.
Are you using Webware 0.8.1 or Webware CVS? A lot of stuff has been
rewritten in CVS and maybe there are bugs in the servlet handling that are
making it slow.
Maybe you could post some examples of your servlet code?
