What's the difference between webware-discuss and webware-devel in terms
of what to post where? It seems like since Webware is a development
platform, most of the discussion is about development anyway. And when
talking about generic modules which may or may not be included in
Webware someday, it becomes difficult to decide whether you're
"using Webware for development" or "developing Webware", because they
both merge into each other.
The only thing I can tell is that basic installation issues and discussion
about third-party applications which will never be part of Webware
belong in webware-discuss.

It's a good question and I think the answer is still being formed as we go.
One thing I notice is that detailed discussions of the implementation of
some feature (such as templates) usually result in many messages. On those
days that we have a lot of these messages, between 1 and 3 people drop off
of webware-discuss (I get notified when that happens).
In general, I think of "webware-discuss" as ordinary users and
"webware-devel" as people who are "lifting up the hood" and tinkering with
the engine. I think ordinary users are concerned with installation, usage,
future directions, posting feedback on API or behavior, etc.
I hope that helps in some fashion.
