I've checked in a KidKit servlet factory which lets you write .kid=20
files, put them in your Webware context, and then open them in your=20
browser as http://localhost/myContext/test.kid. I just checked it into=20=
the development CVS, so it should be in the anonymous CVS available for=20=
the public on Wednesday 27 Jan 05.
Here's what the readme says:
KidKit is a Webware plugin to which makes Webware understand *.kid=20
files. By installing this kit, you can write .kid template files and=20
Webware will render them automatically without you needing to compile=20
It is in ALPHA state I would say at the moment (January 2005). I put it=20=
together and it works for some quick tests. You can access the put/get=20=
field variables, and it does "for" loops and so forth.
Kid, Element-Tree and Webware. This was built and tested in January=20
2005, with Kid v0.4.1 and Element Tree 1.2.4-20041228. Other versions=20

I just did a fresh checkout of Webware cvs and when I ran "python
install.py", I got this error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "install.py", line 571, in ?
File "install.py", line 74, in run
File "install.py", line 219, in installDocs
File "install.py", line 234, in propagateStyleSheet
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'KidKit/Docs/StyleSheet.css'
I manually created a temp stylesheet at that location to get the install
to work, but maybe the Docs directory wasn't checked in to CVS or is
sourceforge being flaky?
