Some of the improvements are really just eliminating the blatant problems in ASP. But I do find some of these ideas quite compelling, in particular the idea of Web Controls seems particularly useful in making it easier to write dynamic sites that work cross-browser. In a nutshell, it's a "control" that generates matching client-side HTML and server-side code to respond to events, and automatically tailors them for the particular browser being used. You can easily create new Web Controls, too.
Any thoughts on how useful Web Controls are and how something similar could be implemented in Webware?
