I'm resending this since my follow-up post made it, but not the original.
Had a bad return address...
Anyway, I've been trying to find a good Python app server, and like Webware
quite a bit. It's really clean and simple compared to Zope. In rummaging
around however, I've also come across SkunkWeb (skunkweb.sourceforge.net)
and Twisted (www.twistedmatrix.com).
Would anybody who has experience with these other two app server frameworks
be able comment on the pros and cons of them? I'm not trying to start a
flamefest, but would like to understand what the strengths and weaknesses
of the alternatives are.

My impression of Twisted is that it's aiming for something different
than Webware -- more distributed applications, potentially with web
clients. Skunkweb is much more equivalent.
I, like I think many people, have only just recently heard of
Skunkweb, so I haven't looked at it much. Probably Skunkweb people
would know about Webware than visa versa.
