=46rom reading other's opinions I have gleaned this information: (+) Mod_python's PSP was written in C with a parser built by flex, vs.=20= the hand-written parser for webware. Mod_python claims that makes=20 their implementation very fast. (+) Mod_python has spent a lot of time working on how it interacts=20 with apache for performance. (+) The new version has some sort of session construct so db=20 connections and so forth can be cached. (-) Nobody seems to get it running on Mac OS X for Apache 1.3. Only=20= for Apache 2. It seems rather laborious to build. -ww On 31-Aug-2004, at 8:10 AM, Geoffrey Talvola wrote: > I haven't compared them, but I would be interested in hearing from=20 > someone who has. > =A0 > - Geoff > -----Original Message----- > From: Winston WOLFF [mailto:st...@ob...] > Sent: Monday, August 30, 2004 2:34 PM > To: web...@li... > Subject: Re: [Webware-discuss] re: custom tags in PSP/WebKit? > > > How does the Webware PSP compare to the Apache Mod_Python PSP? > > > > -ww > > =A0 |
