Hi John, I'm also experiencing a problem like this about once per day (but not reliably and not at the same time). Like yours it does not appear to be load related. I can't yet offer any help, but I thought you should know that you aren't alone! (RedHat 9, Python 2.2.2, the eternal Webware release: 0.81.)
