Hi All, I've recently started to evaluate WebWare, and have noticed some random lockups where the server stops responding. I'm mainly using WW for XMLRPC when I CNTL-Z to kill the server followed by "fg" I see additional "block" requests completing the server is quite hard to kill after issuing a CNTL-C but several CNTL-Z and fg's later it stops. As I said its very random today for example I issued 30,000+ requests with no lock and then other times 70 or so will lock the server. My system is RD9 with Apache 2 build from source and the standard Python 2.2 that ships with RH9. I had the same lockups more regular with the the CGI adapter using the mod_ for Apache 2 as an adapter significantly reduced lockups. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Apart from this WebWare is proving to be a kick-ass solution to my problem! JohnG |
