If you think that could be a good idea, just shout :-) Sure :) My main idea is that as much of the metadata as possible should be implicit... I.e. the sql database itself should provide enough structural information. E.g. by doing class Person(Persistent): table = 'person' you'd be all set... (And even the table name could be extracted from the class name, I guess... ;) I'm not sure if this is the best way of doing things, but I think it would be interesting to investigate it. (It's quite close to ZODB in some ways, I guess...
